My gorgeous skin bags range from the 1920′s to 1960′s, they represented the highest status symbol and were marketed as an important gift-giving opportunity, ranking as high as minks, diamonds, cars and chateaux.
There has been a revival of exotic skin handbags with Mulberry’s Ostrich skin with a price tag of £3,500 and Victoria Beckham’s crocodile handbags with an eye watering price of over £10,000. Where as for a few hundred, you can achieve a classic bag with style and sophistication and of course the uniqueness we all desire in this world of mass production!
